“Nice kitchenette”

“I had a great stay here. The place was clean and comfortable, great location. I would definitely come back. My only complaint was that some people started fighting very loudly at 3am near my cabin and I didn’t know what to do, since there is no staff on site.”

“Well maintained property fronting on a nice small lake with small private sand beach. Ideal for families with kids. Pontoon boats on docks block view of the lake on first floor units, but not a deal breaker. The check in procedure needs a bit of work, but it all worked out, would definitely stay again. Fish dinner at restaurant right down the street is to die for!”

“I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no……

“The staff are super friendly, very helpful, and always happy to assist you with ANYTHING you might need while youre there. The location was PERFECT for us, lake right next to us, a bunch of restaurants all walking distance for us to go beat at”

“Not sure I'd stay here again. The rooms were clean enough, but the facility feels a little outdated. The listing says it has direct beach access, but it's not next to a body of water, soooooo.......??? It wasn't the end of the world since we didn't have time on this stop anyway. We didn't sleep very well even though the mattresses were comfortable. There's no blackout curtains on the window and there was a lamp from the parking lot right outside our window so it felt like staring into the sun……

“We stayed two nights, so this review is limited. We arrived around 8pm and the clerk was probably busy because we had to wait for over 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front deak. The property is a little dated especially our room's bathroom. The tile and the chalking are older, and the repairs were not in great shape.”

“Very nice condo! Very clean and cozy. Lots of space for our big family, we loved going around the dock looking for crawfish! We also enjoyed the hot tub at night with the mood lights, just bring bug spray! The mosquitoes liked it too ;) Nice soft beds and bedding made for a great night of sleep. Highly recommended.”

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.”

“Mattress kept slipping off the platform frame. Mattress was uncomfortable. Facility called and asked if we took a pillow. We informed them that we didn’t and had no need for their lumpy pillows. I will be very upset if I am charged for a pillow that I did not take”

“First room, the key card would not work because lock had not been updated. So they gave us a new key card. The lights in this room between beds and clock did not work and there was no refrigerator. Went to receptionist and she upgraded wife to another room. Opened that door and when I went in there was a bag of trash by the door with dirty diapers in it and smelled so bad. I took bag to receptionist to deal with. I am assuming the cleaning person left it there. Don't know how long it had……
